This is a legal website licenced by the MCPS/PRS, D-Roy Label, and is dedicated to Lover's Rock, Reggae, Rockers, and Steppers music from the mid 70s to early 80s only. During these years reggae music came truly into it's own. If you are enthusiastic about reggae music from this era you will hear tunes long forgotten, and if you are new to reggae our large but easy to browse library has tunes you will not hear on any other website. You will not find on this site many of the commercial reggae names for example, Bob Marley, Burning Spear (Winston Rodney) or Peter Tosh, as you can download many of these artist's tracks on countless online sites or purchase one of the compilation cds and dvds that have flooded the market
Rare Groove Collector's OnLine Store
We have a large collection of lover's Rock, Reggae and Steppers music released during the late 70s to early 80s, many of which were recorded and produced in the U.K, in fact Lover's Rock was invented here. The majority of these record labels are no longer in business, and several of the artist are sadly no longer living, making our collection very rare.
Most of these 12" tunes are in two parts, a vocal version and either an instrumental of the same song or DJ style toasting. The length of these tunes vary from roughly 4.30 mins to as long as 10.00 mins, all of which are great melodic sounds to the ears.
We ask all customers to note, that, a charge of 3.5 % (levied by the credit card clearance company) will be added to your total bill. We feel this is a small price to pay for your own personal security protection.

If You Are Unfamilar With How Versatile The Mp3 Format Is Read On
Mp3s are very easy to convert into other formats to suit your player, all you need is a free software such as iTunes or any of the other similar device's which then enable you to import your mp3 music, and convert them into other formats for burning onto Cds etc.
If you are an ipod user then iTunes for instance will download your mp3s straight into the ipod for you via a USB cable attached from your ipod to your computer.
If you will be playing your songs on a computer that does not have MP3 software, then choose WAV before importing them.
If you want to burn them onto Cds for home, work or the car just set the format in itunes before burning to WAV. Your Cds can then be played on any Cd player.The same as if you had purchased the Cd from a record shop anywhere on the high street.
There are other formats to choose from as well but the principle is the same.

In order to download your tunes after purchase, it is necessary to scroll down the invoice containing your order/s to the links at the bottom of the invoice (printed in blue). Click on each link and save to your hard drive before playing them, particularly if it is a large order/s. We must advise you that these links have a download time limit of 24 hours before they become inactive.
